LeapMind 1st-patents in Taiwan for its low bit quantization technology

September 16, 2022 - LeapMind Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Soichi Matsuda), a creator of the standard in edge AI have announced that it has been granted their first overseas patent in Taiwan. The patent is awarded for the invention related to neural network circuits, edge devices and neural network operation method, which is part of our core technology, extremely low-bit quantization used for the flagship product, ultra-low power AI interface accelerator IP “Efficiera®”. It is a pursued to the utmost limit technology of the weight reduction method of deep learning model and has already been granted in Japan in June, 2021.
