LeapMind's Employee Interview : Rika
去年6月にLeapMindにJoinしました。前職では人材紹介エージェントで人材コンサルタントをしていました。大学時代はリベラルアーツの中でも社会学、特にエスニシティ・人種・民族・ジェンダーの分野に興味を持って学んでいました。そのため、人間とその環境についてもっと勉強し、それに関わる仕事に就きたいと考えていました。
I joined LeapMind last June. In my previous company I was working as a talent consultant in a recruitment agent. During college years I was studying social studies among liberal arts, i was especially interested in fields of race, ethnicity and gender. Therefore, I wanted to learn more about people and their environment and want to get a job related to that.
What are you responsible for at LeapMind?
LeapMindではどのような業務を担当していますか?
HR Divisionではリクルーターとして、Leapmindで私たちと一緒に挑戦してくれる人の採用とオンボーディングをメインで担当しています。採用業務では主にエンジニア職種担当として、今後の技術方針を確認しながら、必要な人材やスキルを各部署と調整し、採用活動の方針を決めていきます。募集する時期や職種によってチャネルを使い分けたり、新しい媒体を検討したり、工夫しています。LeapMindは常にユニークな技術に取り組んでいるので、技術への理解を深めるために勉強していくことが私の課題です。
オンボーディングも担当しているため、応募してくれた方が入社し、活躍できるためのサポートを一貫して行うことができます。HRのメンバーとして、社員のみなさんの成長の手助けができればいいなと思っています。
As a recruiter in HR Division, I am mainly in charge of hiring and onboarding of people who will challenge with us at Leapmind. In the recruitment, I am mainly focusing on the engineer roles, I will adjust the necessary human resources and skills set with each division, and decide the policy of recruitment while confirming the future technical policy. Depending on the recruitment period and role, we use different channels, examine new media to think out. LeapMind is always working on unique technologies, so studying and deepening my understanding of technology is one of the challenging parts.
Because I am also in charge of onboarding, I can consistently support the person who applied and actually join to LeapMind. As a member of HR, I hope that we can help our employees grow.
Why did you choose LeapMind?
LeapMindに入社した理由を教えてください
最先端の技術で人々の日常生活を便利により良くするなど、これからの社会に必要とされるような事業を展開する企業で働きたいと思っていました。映画やドラマで見るような、夢のように思い描いている将来に近付くための技術のひとつであるDeepLearning、そしてLeapMindが掲げる大きなVisionに可能性を感じ、入社したいと思いました。実際入社してみて、マネージャーやボードメンバーとの距離の近さ、個人やチームのベストなパフォーマンスを考えた組織であると感じました。
最初はエンジニア採用やDeepLearningの技術などわからないことばかりでしたが、いつでも気軽に相談ができ、サポートを受けながら多くのフィードバックを得ることができました。
I wanted to work in a company that develops businesses that are needed and cared for society of the future, such as improving the convenience of people's daily lives with state-of-the-art technology and making them better. I joined to LeapMind because of their big vision and deep learning which is one of the techniques for approaching the future that I imagined like a dream, as seen in the movies and dramas. In fact, I felt it is an organization that thought about the closeness of distance to managers and board members, the best performance of individuals and teams.
At first, there were a lot of things which were new to me such us engineering recruitment and deep learning, but I was able to consult with anybody anytime and get support while receiving many feedbacks.

「Respect talent , make communicative and supportive environment for employees,」みんなが気持ちよく働くことができ、成長できる環境作りを大切にしています。自分ができることをできる限りやっていくことでより良い働く環境とカルチャーに近づいていきたいと考えています。採用業務ではもっとたくさんの人にLeapMindについて知っていただき、興味を持っていだたくことがチャレンジになってきます。そのためLeapMindについての情報をたくさん発信していき魅力を伝えていきたい思っています。
"Respect talent, make communicative and supportive environment for employees" We value that everyone can work comfortably and grow. I would like to work on providing a better working environment and culture by doing what I can as much as possible. In the recruitment, it will become a challenge to get many people know about LeapMind and get interested. For that reason, I would like to offer information about LeapMind as many as i can and attraction of it.
What kind of inspirations do you get from the members around you?
周りの人からどんな刺激をうけていますか？
LMの技術に魅了され、一緒に社会にインパクトを与えるにJoinしてくれる様々なバックグラウンドや誰よりも優れた才能やスキルをもつメンバーたち。そしてそのメンバーたちがが様々な経験や知識を私達に共有してくれる環境です。
I am inspired by the LeapMind's technology, the members who have various backgrounds, superior talent and skill than anyone and joined to give impact on society together. And it is the environment that members share various experiences and knowledge with us.
What kind of company do you think that LeapMind is?
LeapMindはどんな会社だと思いますか？
スピード感があり、すぐに提案・実現できるため、仕事が好きになれる環境です。ありのままを受け入れ、褒め合い、個人を大切にし、各々が本当にやりたいことをやっています。メンバーは国籍や年齢、人種、性別、関係なく尊敬し合っています。全員が同じゴールを共有しているため、チームワークも良いと思います。これからもこのメンバーと一緒にLeapMindを盛り上げていきたいです。
There is a sense of speed, so we can propose and realize immediately and it’s an environment that makes me rewarding. We accept each other as they are, compliment, treat and respect regardless of nationality, age, race, sex, each one is doing what he/she really wants to do. Teamwork is also good because everyone shares the same goal. I would like to continue bringing excitement LeapMind along with this member from now on.
